Our model
Where it all started
Founded in 2018, RYC began as a small community initiative in Charlottesville, Virginia. Our Charlottesville chapter grew rapidly, driven by passionate student-athletes eager to make a difference. Our expansion into other cities has been fueled by the positive impact we’ve observed in the children & communities we've served.
Beyond the U.S.
Run Your City shares the same universal mission among all of our chapters, but our model differs in the U.S. versus abroad.

By integrating collegiate students/athletes & local communities, we hope to make sports accessible to all children
By adapting our model to your community, we move closer to a future where every child is ready to run their best race
