Hi! My name is Sage and I am a Senior at UNL. I am majoring in Biochemistry, and am currently applying to dental school! I am a thrower on the Track and Field team, competing mainly in shot put, weight throw, and hammer throw. In my free time, I like to spend my time outside, walking or playing pickleball, as well as reading and spending time with my family!

Kellyn Kortemeyer
Co-President, Social Media
Hi! My name is Kellyn, and I am a graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Child, Youth, and Family Studies with a minor in Educational Studies, and I’m now starting my master’s degree in Youth Development. I’m also a thrower on the UNL Track & Field team, primarily competing in the shot put, while also throwing the weight indoors and discus outdoors. I’m originally from Custer, South Dakota, in the beautiful Black Hills. Outside of track, I enjoy watching sunsets, spending time at the lake, hiking, and hanging out with my friends and family. I’m so excited to be part of the leadership team and can’t wait to get started with the sessions!

Berlyn Schutz

Hey! I’m Berlyn and am a Senior studying political science. This is my third season with RYC, and I’m so excited to keep this program building! On the track team, my main event is the mile. I also love to travel and spend time with friends and family in my free time!

what if?
…there was a future where every kid gets to play, no matter their zip code, ability level, or family's income?
A future where collegiate athletes lock arms with their communities to make team sports accessible for all.
